Everything Aside was written while our lives were changing pretty dramatically. We had just quit our day jobs and taken music full time. I just got married. Every day was improving on the last, we felt more free and fulfilled, but also far more uncertain about the future. To me, the album is about building the life you dream of, while constantly being afraid of letting your loved ones down and failing. I hope the feeling people get while listening is one of encouragement, and excitement. It feels really good to have all these emotions recorded. -Adam Pendlington
